In September 2001, Bill and Sandy Boyce opened a Clearwater operation, currently located on Ulmerton Road, just east of U.S. 19, in Clearwater, Florida.

The Clearwater store serves Clearwater, Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs, as well as the St. Petersburg market. Facilities include four individual teaching studios, two of which have Yamaha grand pianos available, one group (lab) room, and a separate Disklavier (player piano) room. Within the store's main showroom is a 9,500-sq. ft. recital hall for larger gatherings.

As the Clearwater-St. Petersburg area’s exclusive Yamaha piano dealer, Piano Distributors’ Clearwater location is fast becoming a central hub of musical activity with ongoing piano lessons, recitals and special musical events. Relationships with the piano teaching community are being built, and support of Clearwater-St. Petersburg schools and colleges are being established.
