Yamaha dealer Bill Boyce, with operations in North Carolina, Florida, and Missouri, was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Keyboard Insights Group (KIG). The award was presented to Boyce at a special KIG dinner held October 5 in Atlanta, and was made in recognition of a career of outstanding achievements, significant contributions to KIG, and advancement of the standards of keyboard retailing.

"I am extremely grateful to my KIG peers for bestowing this honor on me," said Boyce, whose career in piano retailing spans 50 years. "This group is important to our industry, and represents the best retailers in the business. I have derived great pleasure in working together with team members over the years to build our mutual successes."

And in 2003, Yamaha, the leading manufacturer of musical instruments in the world, presented Boyce's Piano Distributors with its coveted Dealer of the Year Award.

"Selling is in my blood," admits Boyce, "but service is the most important part of the sale. It's first, last, and always, and the basis of how we have succeeded in business for nearly 40 years."
