In 1982, Bill Boyce had a vision to take his successful piano marketing further East. With already three successful stores in the Raleigh area, he and a young sales consultant from Statesville, Hank Walker, decided that Greenville, N.C. was the place to start. With a thriving local economy and a growing University, Piano & Organ Distributors of Greenville opened its doors in the fall of 1982.
Greenville Piano & Organ Distributors is conveniently located on Greenville Boulevard, Greenville's main strip for shopping and dining. With approximately 3,500 square feet of combined showroom, office, and warehouse space, they display new and used acoustic and digital pianos by brands like Yamaha, Petrof, Nordiska, Baldwin, Knabe, Wurlitzer and many more. With the store having warehouse and office space this allows us to have a full service moving and rental department for our customers to benefit from.
With a vision to further expand, the two decided to open a store 2 hours south of Greenville. This led to the opening of Piano & Organ Distributors in Wilmington, NC in the summer of 1998. With the relocation of now Vice President Hank Walker, a young sales consultant named Quentin Asby now manages the Greenville location.
Carrying on Piano & Organ Distributors' high standard of customer service, Quentin's goal is to make every customer feel welcome and offer them the most up to date information available. We will offer our clients an outstanding value for their investment. We will continue to emphasize the concept of a fami1y business serving the family customer with integrity and consistency. If you should stop in, you may find the famous Yamaha Disklavier playing your favorite song all by itself. Come see us at 210 SE Greenville Boulevard, Greenville North Carolina.
