The Signified Touchstone Award Recipients, or STARs, are an elite group of salespeople inducted into the Yamaha TouchStone program created in 1996. The Yamaha TouchStone program recognizes outstanding salespeople for their knowledge and achievement in sales, professional skills, and customer service. The program exemplifies the Yamaha commitment to customer, dealer, and salesperson satisfaction, thereby assuring Yamaha customers that they are doing business with the best in the music industry.

We encourage all our salespersons to earn the Yamaha Touchtone award. The qualifications met by the Touchtone recipients include a proven record of customer relations excellence; successful completion of a prescribed course of study; and passage of a rigorous certification examination pertaining to Yamaha acoustic, Disklavier, and Silent Series™ pianos.
